Three years after their promising self-titled debut EP, here we have "I am The Land", the first full-length from hard rockers Queen Marsa.

From the powerful start with "Gaugamela" to the end of the album with "Outlaw on the Run", where they flirt with classic Heavy Metal, going through catchy tracks like "The Trick Is You Don't Mind" or "Treat Me Like You Do", whose choruses stick to your brain, the album "I Am The Land" proves to be a magnificent first letter of introduction for this band from Mallorca (Balearic Island).

Someone say music is dead? Old Mine Universe just shot that statement down in flames! I don’t know how this is a debut album, it’s ridiculously accomplished in every way, an astounding feat of talent. This is hard rock, with respectful nods to past legends, touched with expansive desert rock, throughout remaining intelligent, thoughtful, contemplative, upbeat. Guitar solos, remember them?
